08:30 AM - Departure from the Pier to the instruction area - Jaguar Base;
09:45 AM - Special instruction with emphasis on Life in the Jungle, containing the following activities: Use of compasses in the jungle area; Show instructions on the following subjects: Obtaining water, fire; Plant species; Construction of traps; Construction of shelters; Technique of Peconha; Practice of instructions given. Return to the place of departure.
Details of activities:
Customers will receive initial instruction on life in the jungle with Jaguar Jungle Trainers. After initial instructions that will cover knowledge about how to make fire, how to build traps, how to climb trees using peconha techniques and how to orient yourself in the jungle using compasses. The group will be divided into three or four teams (Red, Yellow, Blue and White), which should compose their functions to carry out orienteering competition with compass.
During the orientation course, teams must find prisms in their colors according to the Orientation Table that will be delivered to them. At the time of each move, the teams must fulfill the missions given in the table and can only leave to the next point after the proposed task is done, for example make fire and feed your team, or build a trap.
At the time of the competition the teams must overcome obstacles, such as a three-string bridge. Jaguar instructors will accompany each team to provide security and evaluate the fulfillment of each mission imposed. At the end, and after the meeting with the instructors who accompanied each team, will be declared the winning team and also the highlights of each team.
The forecast of running the Orienteering Track will vary according to the abilities of the teams, however, the average execution time is 02 hours.
